Barry is trying to raise much needed funds for the Children's Asylum in Vesnova in Chernobyl. All donations, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference in these children's lives.
I am very humbled, as part of the Rose of Tralee family 2016, to have the opportunity to make the trip to Vesnova Children's Mental Asylum in Belarus with the Adi Roche Chernobyl Children foundation in February of 2017.I will be volunteering in Vesnova with some of my fellow Roses and Escorts, including this year's winner Maggie McEldowney. We will be assisting in the staff and hopefully making a difference in the lives of these children.
To start, I have set up this online donation account, as I want to make a difference in these children's lives. Belarus is still struggling from the fallout of the Chernobyl disaster and I would really appreciate your support to do this. I will hopefully be hosting a number of small fundraising campaigns in the run up to this trip to raise much-needed funds for the charity.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a big, big difference! All of the money raised goes directly to making a difference in the lives of these children, buying simple goods and helping cover everyday costs.
Please, please, please help me to help the children in Vesnova Children's Mental Asylum in Belarus.
