 As part of National Men’s Health Week the HSE’s Health and Wellbeing Department have teamed up with Mayo Men’s Sheds to provide a free NCT event for all men. The days will offer an opportunity to avail of a free health screen by the Irish Heart Foundation and also an opportunity to get information a wide range of health related information.
Some of the Groups that will have information stands on the day include the Irish Heart Foundation, Diabetes Ireland, Mayo Sports Partnership, Marie Keating Foundation, Education Training Board, Mental Health Ireland, Cancer Screening Service and the HSE. This event is free of charge and booking is not necessary. All attendees will be entered in a free draw. The events take place on Thursday 15th June 2017 at Castlebar Tennis Club from 1.to 5.30 pm and on Friday June 16th from 10am to 1 pm at the Charlestown CBD Complex, Old Swinford Road, Charlestown.  Andrew Durkin of Durkin's Bar and Restaurant presenting Keith Rogers of Ballaghaderreen Senior Football team with a new set of jerseys for the team at a recent league game.
