This Saturday, 5th Oct will see the London to Ballaghaderreeen cyclists arrive in town at approx. 6 - 6.30pm (We will know exact time on the day and will be posting updates on Facebook & Twitter).
We are trying to get as many people as possible into town to welcome the cyclists and cheer them on to their final destination - the clubhouse - and are looking for all players to wear Ballagh jerseys where possible.
This event has gathered huge momentum and is in memory of a great clubmen....Frank Kelly. Ballaghadeerreen GAA have a huge connection due to the number of cyclists involved in the club....Barry & Peter Kelly, Pat O Grady, Martin Coyle, Gary Conway and Mark Kilgallon.
Spread the word and line the streets next Sat evening to support this bunch of lads who have undertaken the journey.
We will be holding a reception at the clubhouse for the cyclists on their arrival.
